40 Photos: This was my first project as a photographer. What I liked was how I posed the first photo because I followed the rule of thirds, however I overall did not like how the photos had no meaning. This project later on helped me remember the rule of thirds and to not take pictures that can read as being too posed.
Elements of Photography: The elements used in the photos were mainly texture, contrast, and pattern. These concepts such as the elements of photographer helped me realize that details such as texture can make a photo better.
Dramatic Lighting: What I liked about these photographs is they weren't such as posed, and the lighting In both look better compared to when I first started. I also learned a new trick; light writing. The concept of lighting helped me become a better photographer because I learned that lighting sets the tone and feeling of the picture.
Angle Photos: This project helped challenge my perspective by making me realize that a simple angle change can completely alter the look and feel of the photo. A certain angle can evoke a certain feeling that another angle cannot therefore this project helped me realize this.
Portraits: Up to this point I disliked taking portrait photos, however I liked this project because portrait photos convey what ever the person in them is feeling. This project helped me become a better photographer, because it taught me the importance of rule of thirds and lighting in a photo.
Mask Photos:
Arranged Objects Dyptic Photograph: The style of both pictures gives insight to the type of person in the photograph is. Both pictures, are simplistic and almost neutral, these objects signify. the kind of person the model is. The model Palvi is a shy, simplistic person and the hint of teal represents her calm demeanor.
Color (element) Photos: I used monochromatic and primary colors in these photograph. What I liked about these photographs was I found color schemes were you least expected it. If I could change anything I would have added a person in order to add to the value of both photographs.
